North Shore Community Festival Sites - February 12-28There are three North Shore Festival sites where people can gather, celebrate and share in the excitement of the Games. These sites will feature live feed of the Games on large screens, include entertainment and will be a community gathering place to be part of the Games in our own backyard. Residents attending previous Olympic Games have said that these community gathering places are the best and one of the most memorable parts of hosting the Games! This will be your once-in-lifetime experience to participate in being the hosting province. Check WinterFest event schedule Winter Carnival at Park RoyalPark Royal welcomes the world with the first annual Winter Carnival - a magical outdoor skating experience. A skating canal will run through Main Street in the Village at Park Royal. There will be many stops of interest including: a hot chocolate zone, sponsor information tents, and many activities to keep you entertained.
